Deer's nose

Hey Joe,
I was wondering if you think there is any nose in the woods that compair's to that of a mature whitetail. I hear bears have a incredible nose on them, but I think it is hard to beat the nose of a mature whitetail. Just wondering what your expreince has been over the years tou have spent in the woods pursuing big game. Thanks Harley!

I agree with you to a point, it is very hard to beat the nose of a mature whitetail. However, based on my own experiences, and in my opinion, I have got to lean towards the coyote.An old adage I remember from back in the day when I used to hunt them with a passion went something like this... A whitetail can hear a snowflake fall, A bear can smell a snowflake fall and an eagle can see a snowflake fall, but mr. coyote can do all three and then some. I have seen them do some pretty amazing things.
